Purpose
A site induction is a mandatory safety briefing given to every person before they are allowed to work on or visit a construction site. Under CDM 2015, principal contractors must ensure that all workers receive a site-specific induction covering emergency procedures, site rules, hazards, and welfare arrangements. The induction must be recorded and signed as evidence of delivery.
When to Use This Template
- Before any person enters the working area of a construction site for the first time
- When subcontractors mobilise to site with new operatives
